[Long Jumper]
ジャンプするカエルの中でも、この東京達磨蛙の跳躍力は有名だ。 近年、その距離が一段と伸びていることが判明した。 コンクリート製の溝や段差が、増えたためか？ 跳躍と潜水時に目は瞬膜に覆われ保護されるのだが、それにかわる シールドを装着してから長い距離を跳べるようになったのか？ 脚にサスペンションも付いてるし・・・
[Long Jumper]
Among the jumping frogs, Tokyo-daruma pond frog is one of the most famous for its jumping distance. It has proved to have been increasing the distance farther. One of the reasons is supposed to be an adaptation for the increasingly big steps and ditches made by concrete. While jumping and diving, the eyes are covered with eyelid normally. But instead, it has the bigger shield to cover all the head. It's still on study when is the beginning of the change of dramatically longer jump. The suspension on the legs is standard nowadays.
