彼らの学名（Agalychnis callidryas）の由来は、属名が『赤い花の咲く植物』の意で、赤い目の事を指している。
どうも気分が良い時には、鳴くみたいである。

The Red-eyed Tree Frog lives in the forest. Its Latin name "Agalychnis callidryas" means "a plant with red flowers" which indicates the red eyes. When they feel good, they seem to sing often.
